  • Gestalt chair work approach to address psychological impact of injury, recovery, and future goal setting.

OUTCOME:

  • Committed to and played first match post injury with successful outcomes. 

  • Improved psychological awareness and emotional resilience post injury.

  • Improved confidence and acceptance with the limitations that permanent consequences of physical injury can bring. 

  • Recommendation to liaise with other Professionals to aid with recovery process.

  • Client appointed a personal trainer to help with recovery and rebuilding physiological strength and flexibility. 

  • Client appointed a Clinical Psychologist for formal counselling.
